Chris Davies MEP
Chris Davies was Liberal Democrat MEP for the North West, 1999-2014. Twice named 'Parliamentarian of the Year' for his work in the environmental field he introduced the EU's largest funding mechanism to combat climate change by supporting low CO2 technologies.
Currently, Chris Davies sits as Chairman of the Fisheries' Committee in the European Parliament, where he aims to use his position to illustrate that Britain ought to be taking a leading role in shaping the future of Europe. As an MEP, his principle priorities are the implementation of measures to halt the climate crisis, promote sustainable fishing, and to Stop Brexit.
Jane Brophy MEP
A former dietitian, Jane Brophy has been a Metropolitan Borough Councillor in Trafford for 19 years, where she is the Liberal Democrat Group Leader.
As a recently elected MEP for the North West of England, Jane sits on the Committee for Employment and Social Affairs, along with the Delegation for relations with the Federative Republic of Brazil, in the European Parliament.
Jane's main concerns as an MEP are: health and social care policies, the implementation of measures to stop climate change, and stopping Brexit.
